Job Title:   Recruiter 

Job Description: 

The Recruiter is responsible for supporting Trystar’s talent acquisition function by managing full-cycle recruitment activities for assigned positions.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the Recruiter partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, identify qualified talent, coordinate interview activity, and support an efficient and consistent hiring process. This role is responsible for sourcing, screening, and engaging candidates through internal recruiting tools and external sourcing channels, while maintaining accurate recruiting information and supporting a professional candidate experience. The Recruiter also contributes to talent pipeline development, direct sourcing efforts, and continuous improvement of recruiting processes.

In this role you will:

1. Full-Cycle Recruiting

• Manage the full recruitment process for assigned positions, from intake through offer and acceptance.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, priorities, and candidate profiles.
• Source, screen, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to create a positive candidate experience.
• Coordinate interviews and help move candidates efficiently through the hiring process.

2. Candidate Sourcing & Talent Pipelines

• Use a variety of sourcing methods to identify and attract qualified candidates, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting tools.
• Conduct proactive outreach to both active and passive candidates.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs.
• Research and identify new sourcing channels and approaches to expand candidate pools.
• Help reduce reliance on external recruiting agencies through effective direct sourcing.

3. Hiring Manager Partnership

• Build strong working relationships with hiring managers and provide regular updates on search activity and candidate pipelines.
• Help hiring managers understand market conditions, candidate availability, and recruiting challenges.
• Provide guidance on candidate qualifications and help ensure consistent and effective interview processes.
• Gather timely feedback from hiring managers and candidates to keep searches moving forward.

4. Recruiting Process & Systems

• Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Follow established recruiting processes and ensure a consistent experience across assigned searches.
• Utilize recruiting technology and tools to improve sourcing, communication, organization, and efficiency.
• Track recruiting activity and provide updates on progress, challenges, and hiring needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve the recruiting process and candidate experience.

5. Candidate Experience & Employer Brand

• Represent Trystar positively throughout the recruitment process and effectively communicate our culture, career opportunities, and growth.
• Ensure candidates receive timely communication and a professional, engaging experience.
• Support employer branding and recruiting initiatives that help increase Trystar's visibility in the talent market.
• Help build a strong candidate pipeline by creating meaningful connections with candidates, even when they are not selected for a current opportunity.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or similar 
• 3-5+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in a corporate, manufacturing, engineering, or other fast-paced environment (agency). 
• Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes.
• Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, or other recruiting channels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
• Ability to effectively screen candidates and assess qualifications against job requirements.
• Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruiting technology.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now, strongly preferred 
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities.
• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Working knowledge of recruiting best practices and employment laws related to hiring.
• Manufacturing, engineering, technical, or skilled trades recruiting experience is a plus.
