Details General surgical adult population unit with telemetry capability 28-bed unit with nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6 Unit supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs for telemetry patients Night shift schedule from 18:30 to 07:00 Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period Holiday coverage required based on department need 13-week assignment Requirements Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required Current BLS certification through AHA Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Full SSN and DOB required for consideration Driver's license copy required for consideration Two separate professional references required Additional Information Provide direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans Coordinate care across disciplines and communicate patient condition Carry out physician and nursing orders Assess and coordinate discharge planning needs with the healthcare team Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate based on facility radius rule Radius requirements vary by facility location COVID vaccination is not required American Traveler Job ID P-738258.
