Assistant Director of Sales

Department Head/Manager Location: Honolulu, HI, US Summary Collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to formulate and execute strategic sales plans across all market segments, with the objective of maximizing hotel revenue and market share. Lead the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives, while closely monitoring the performance, activities, and productivity of the sales team to ensure the achievement of business targets. Actively contribute to sales presentations, client meetings, site inspections, and hotel property tours to promote the hotel’s facilities and services effectively. Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to enhance customer loyalty, retention, and long-term business partnerships. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth and strengthen the hotel’s competitive positioning. Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and a high level of guest satisfaction. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of solid sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably with exposure to hotel sales and revenue-driven environments. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering strong business results. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
