Duties and Responsibilities As Director of Sales & Marketing, you will shape the commercial success of one of London's most distinctive luxury hotels. As a member of the Leadership Committee, you will define and execute the hotel's commercial strategy, positioning Great Scotland Yard among London's leading luxury hotels while driving profitable revenue growth across rooms, suites, meetings and events, dining experiences and partnerships. Working closely with Revenue Management, Public Relations, Operations and Hyatt's global commercial teams, you will identify new business opportunities, develop innovative sales and marketing initiatives, and strengthen the hotel's presence within the luxury travel market. You'll build influential relationships with luxury travel advisors, corporate partners, consortia, event planners and key stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for Great Scotland Yard and The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. You’ll inspire and develop a high‑performing Sales & Marketing team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and commercial excellence. Through data‑driven decision making, creative storytelling and strategic leadership, you'll ensure every campaign, partnership and client interaction enhances the hotel's reputation while delivering exceptional commercial results. About You You are a commercially astute leader with a passion for luxury hospitality and a proven ability to position exceptional hotels within highly competitive markets. You understand that luxury is about creating desire through authentic storytelling, meaningful relationships and unforgettable experiences, and you know how to translate a hotel's unique character into lasting commercial success. With significant leadership experience within luxury or premium hotels, you have an impressive track record of delivering revenue growth across multiple market segments while protecting brand integrity and rate positioning. You are equally comfortable developing long‑term commercial strategy as you are hosting influential clients, leading negotiations and representing your hotel on the global stage.
