Quick Facts Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855 Start Date: 06/10/2026 End Date: Ongoing Shift: 7a-7a (24-hour call coverage) Hours/Week: Varies based on scheduled shifts Employment Type: Contract (with potential for extension) License/Certs: Active MI RN/APRN license; Urology experience preferred Experience: Prior urology clinic or hospital experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (competitive with local market standards) Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical insurance (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements available Dedicated team support from VHS throughout assignment What You'll Do Provide urology patient care, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning Manage and coordinate postoperative and follow-up care Support patients with urinary disorders, kidney stones, stents, hematuria, etc. Respond to 2-4 calls per night, with onsite call-ins as needed Document call-back notes and patient interactions accurately Perform inpatient rounding on new admissions and inpatient consults Collaborate with hospital staff and urology team to deliver quality care Support diagnostics, procedures, and patient education What You Need Required: Valid Michigan RN and/or APRN license Urology experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to respond within 20 minutes for onsite calls Preferred: Prior hospital or outpatient urology experience Certification in relevant specialties Ability to document and verify call-back hours professionally About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Marquette, MI, committed to excellence in urology care.
