Role Description The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation and case management. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and organizing legal documents, managing case files, coordinating discovery, and preparing pleadings and motions for filing. The role also involves conducting legal research, reviewing and summarizing documents, monitoring deadlines, and communicating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as directed. This is a full-time position. It is a hybrid role based in Santa Fe, NM, with primary work performed in the office and some work-from-home flexibility as appropriate. Qualifications Ability to prepare and manage legal documents, including Legal Document Preparation and Document Review skills. Proficiency in Litigation support tasks, including Pleadings and Motions drafting and filing. Strong Legal Research skills, including use of electronic research tools and citation-checking. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong grammar and attention to detail. Organizational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple deadlines and priorities. Proficiency with standard office software and legal case management tools. Experience as a litigation paralegal or in a similar legal support role; prior experience in New Mexico state or federal courts is a plus. Paralegal certificate or relevant associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
