Title: Registered Nurse – Piedmont Geriatric Hospital State Role Title: RN II/Nurse Prct I/Phy Asst Hiring Range: $84,418 - $116,497 Pay Band: 5 Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Development Location: Piedmont Geriatric Hospital Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Supervise nursing staff on a unit (one of four treatment units) and act as point of leadership for a team of health‑care professionals. Participate in treatment team meetings and therapeutic program activities. Ensure delivery of patient care according to individual treatment plans. Guide, coach, and evaluate staff using the nursing process with knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric disorders, and physical, psychological, and social needs of psychiatric patients. Delegate nursing activities, supervise, and counsel nursing employees to demonstrate competency as defined in the Competency Assessment. • 5.50 per hour – Second Shift Weekday
• 4.00 per hour – Third Shift Weekday
• 5.50 per hour – First Shift Weekend / First Shift Weekday Holiday
• 6.00 per hour – Second Shift Weekend / Second Shift Weekday Holiday
• 7.00 per hour – Third Shift Weekend / Third Shift Holiday

Minimum Qualifications Basic computer knowledge. Virginia State Board of Registered Nursing license. Additional Considerations Prefer bachelor’s degree in nursing. Med‑surg nursing experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Long‑term care and nursing home experience preferred. Experience working with Electronic Health Records.
