Commercial Cleaner

Gym Cleaner – 30 Hours/Week

Fitness 1440 is looking for a dependable, motivated *Gym Cleaner* to help keep our fitness center clean, organized, and looking its best.

This is a great position for someone who enjoys staying busy and *doesn’t need someone looking over their shoulder to stay productive.* You’ll have cleaning lists and priorities to follow, but we want someone who can take ownership of their shift, notice what needs attention, and keep moving from one task to the next.

What You’ll Do

* Clean and sanitize gym equipment and high-touch areas
* Maintain bathrooms, locker rooms, floors, common areas, and outdoor fitness areas
* Complete daily and weekly cleaning checklists
* Continually walk the gym and identify areas that need attention
* Restock supplies and help monitor cleaning inventory
* Handle spills and unexpected cleaning needs
* Help with periodic deep-cleaning projects
* Keep cleaning areas and supplies organized
* Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
* Take pride in keeping the gym looking awesome for our members

The Most Important Part

*You must be self-motivated and able to stay on task independently.*

This isn't a position where a manager will constantly be assigning your next task. We're looking for someone who can follow a routine, manage their time, notice what needs to be done, and stay productive throughout their shift.

Schedule

*30 hours per week across 5 days per week.*

There may be some flexibility in scheduling depending on the needs of the gym and the right candidate.

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
* Ability to bend, reach, twist, and squat
* Comfortable being on your feet and moving throughout your shift
