Crew LeadRivers Safety is currently seeking a Crew Lead to join our team in the area.Qualifications:Minimum six months of Crew Lead experience requiredMust be ATSSA or VDOT Basic Certified or hold an equivalent or higher certificationMust have a valid driver's license with minimal traffic violationsResponsibilities:Work with construction team to establish safe movement of traffic around site, in accordance with safety regulationsDirect traffic flow using Department of Transportation regulationsFlag motorists to warn them of obstacles or repair work aheadSet up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones including warning signs, traffic cones, and other warning devices according to job assignmentWork around hazardous equipment and moving vehicular trafficDrive company vehicle to and from job sites in a safe mannerEnsure the company vehicle is kept clean, properly maintained, and in compliance with safety and operational standardsFollow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipmentEnsure daily testing and inspection of assigned tools and equipmentMaintain an accurate inventory of all equipment issued to youComplete all paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure all crew members are properly equipped with PPE and are adhering to all DOT regulationsCommunicate effectively with contractors to ensure clarity and collaborationAdhere to all Company Policies and ProceduresRequirements:Must be able to work in all temperatures and weather conditionsMust be able to remain in standing position for long periods of timeMust be able to lift, move and maneuver up to 55 pounds on an occasional basis, and up to 10 pounds on a continuous basisMust be physically capable to perform all flagging dutiesMust have sufficient eyesight to judge distances and coordination to get and use appropriate equipment and toolsMust have excellent communication skillsBe willing to work long hours and overtime during holidays, emergencies, weekends, etc. as needed.Must have valid Driver's License with minimal traffic violationsBenefits:100% Employer Paid Health Insurance offered after 90 daysPaid HolidaysPTOTuition ReimbursementDental InsuranceVision InsuranceShort/Long Term Disability InsuranceDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insurancePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyLicense/Certification:Flagger Certification (Required)Drivers License (Preferred)Work Location: In person
