Duties:
- Ensure the safety of all pool patrons by actively monitoring the pool area
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies or incidents that may arise
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with any questions or concerns
- Perform routine pool cleaning tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and maintaining chemical levels
- Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Assist with organizing and facilitating swimming lessons and other aquatic programs

Qualifications:
- Must possess current lifeguard certification from a recognized organization
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues in various water conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for pool maintenance tasks

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Brewster, NY 10509: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
