Pay & Schedule: $34–$40/hr DOE | Monday–Friday

What You’ll Do

• Operate manual machining centers (lathe, mill, drill press) to make and repair precision parts.
• Perform metal fabrication and welding (MIG/TIG/stick), cutting, and fit-up/assembly.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair mechanical systems, production lines, and facility equipment.
• Design and build custom components, tooling, fixtures, and safety guarding.
• Handle pipe fitting, torch cutting, and layout on a variety of materials.
• Execute preventive maintenance routines, inspections, and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve chronic issues.
• Support facility upkeep including carpentry tasks and basic electrical work.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe shop.

What You Bring

• Proven background in manual machining, fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting.
• Ability to interpret prints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and root-cause troubleshooting mindset.
• Preventive maintenance familiarity; basic electrical skills a plus.
• Experience with lathes, mills, drill presses, band saws, grinders, and hand tools.
• Solid communication skills and the ability to train others.
• Associate degree, trade school, or equivalent practical experience.
• U.S. work authorization required.

Physical Requirements

• Mix of sitting/standing/walking ; lift up to 75 lbs; bend, reach, and perform precise manual tasks.
• Work in indoor and outdoor areas with temperature swings, dust, and uneven surfaces.
• Must satisfy vision and respirator certification requirements.
