Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a traveling Physical Therapist where you’ll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active West Virginia Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in outpatient, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings preferred. Experience with therapeutic exercise, gait training, wheelchair assessment, and ADL interventions preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility Shift Name: Days Shift Details: Days 0800-1630, Monday through Friday Schedule: 5x8 Assignment Length: 14 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week Candidates may be required to float to other facility units as needed. Location Highlights Fairmont, WV offers outdoor recreation and local history within short drives. Marion County Lake and Valley Falls State Park are within a 15-30 minute drive, providing hiking trails and fishing access for an outdoor lifestyle. The Marion County Historical Museum and Downtown Fairmont are under 5 miles from major medical centers, offering cultural attractions and dining options for a suburban, small‑city experience. Morgantown and West Virginia University are approximately 20 miles north, providing university events, shopping, and additional transit connections for an urban‑adjacent lifestyle.
