This entry-level role is ideal for recent college graduates or early-career accounting professionals looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting within a multi-entity organization. The Junior Accountant will support daily accounting operations, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and financial reporting while working closely with Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and Operations teams. This position offers hands‑on experience, professional development, and opportunities for career growth within a national organization. Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations Assist with month‑end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations Support maintenance of general ledger accounts and accounting records Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting Ensure accounting records are accurate, organized, and complete Reconciliations and Reporting Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances Support preparation of financial reports and spreadsheets Help maintain reporting schedules and accounting documentation Assist with ad hoc reporting requests from the Accounting and Finance teams Audit and Compliance Support Assist with audit preparation and gathering supporting documentation Support compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Maintain organized records to support audit readiness and internal controls Systems and Process Support Work within ERP systems such as NetSuite and other financial platforms Assist with data entry, account analysis, and system updates Support process improvement initiatives and accounting workflow efficiencies Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Accounts Payable, Payroll, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve accounting-related questions Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding accounting requests and documentation Support special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Internship experience in accounting, finance, or related fields is a plus 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or Intacct is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional accounting environment Why Join The Learning Experience Opportunity to launch your accounting career with a growing national organization Exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and multi‑entity operations Hands‑on training and mentorship from experienced accounting professionals Collaborative and supportive team environment Professional development and advancement opportunities Mission‑driven organization focused on growth, innovation, and operational excellence #J-18808-Ljbffr
