Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor Food production facility, in Northern Wisconsin, desires a proven Production Supervisor who seeks growth potential in skill set, and promotion, for this is the position other Leaders in the company have started out in. Supervisors are responsible for directing the efficient packaging of product, while meeting production goals, and maintaining excellent communication with their team & peers. All food safety & quality concerns should be brought to the attention of plant leadership to initiate action. Essential Duties: Arranging staff to meet production needs Lead the people and processes for your assigned functional area(s) Effectively utilize labor and other resources to maximize efficiency and productivity Perform managerial functions including employee scheduling, performance management, disciplinary action, performance reviews, responding to employee questions and concerns, work direction, ensuring safe work practices, ext. Responsible for documentation and recordkeeping Complete and review department paperwork and reports daily Conduct inspections of equipment and procedures Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the requirements listed below. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Good conflict management and problem solving skills Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy Tactfully maintain confidentiality of information with employees and public Knowledge of various computer applications (MS Word, Excel, ERP) and office equipment. Education and Experience: An Associate Degree with 5 years of experience in Production Supervision plus food manufacturing experience. These requirements are non-negotiable. Work Environment: This position is in a state-of-the-art production facility that includes many different types of machines and robotics within a clean, climate-controlled environment. Production in this facility is fast-paced and requires a safety mind at all times. Compensation: Base salary up to 82K, depending on experience, and relocation assistance if a professional does not live locally.
