The Operations Manager serves as a key integrator across the organization, aligning departments, driving accountability, and overseeing both project and operational performance. This role works closely with leadership to coordinate resources, resolve company-wide issues, and improve operational efficiency. The Operations Manager ensures that company priorities, processes, and goals are executed effectively so projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and profitably, while supporting sustainable long-term growth.

Responsibilities

• Align departments and teams to ensure company priorities, processes, and goals are clearly communicated and consistently executed.

• Drive accountability across the organization by setting expectations, monitoring performance, and following through on commitments.

• Oversee project performance to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and profitably, particularly within construction and interior demolition operations.

• Coordinate resources across multiple departments to support ongoing projects and day-to-day operations.

• Identify and solve company-wide operational issues, removing obstacles and improving workflows.

• Improve operational efficiency by analyzing processes, recommending changes, and implementing best practices.

• Support long-term business growth by turning leadership vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with leadership to align operational activities with strategic objectives.

• Provide strong leadership that brings structure to complex environments and drives results through others.

• Monitor financial aspects of operations and projects, ensuring effective oversight and cost control.

• Plan and manage resource allocation to meet project demands and operational needs.

• Enhance customer service by ensuring operational processes support high-quality service delivery.

• Participate in planning meetings and occasional onsite visits with leadership to review progress and address operational needs.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in operations management, with a focus on aligning departments and driving accountability.

• Demonstrated ability to execute plans effectively and drive results through others.

• Strong project management experience, preferably within construction or interior demolition environments.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey expectations and updates across multiple departments.

• High level of accountability and ownership over operational and project outcomes.

• Advanced problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex, company-wide issues.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to bring structure to complex and dynamic environments.

• Experience in construction operations and familiarity with industry-specific processes and challenges.

• Financial oversight capabilities related to project and operational performance.

• Experience with resource planning and process improvement initiatives.

• Decisive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to turn vision into measurable outcomes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working within the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) framework is a plus.

• Background in customer service within an operational or project-based environment.

• Experience in interior demolition or related construction specialties.

• Interest in growing with the company long term and contributing to business growth and strategy.

• Ability to collaborate closely with leadership and influence organizational direction.

Work Environment

This role operates in a hybrid work environment with no regular travel required. The Operations Manager primarily works from office or remote settings, with occasional meetings at different sites to collaborate with the owner and leadership team and participate in planning sessions. The work focuses on construction and interior demolition operations, requiring close coordination with project teams and office-based staff in a professional, results-driven environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $49.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
