- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and GL analysis.
- Manage federal grant accounting processes, including compliance with Uniform Guidance and SEFA reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial data related to grants, AR, and payer activity.
- Process invoices and budget modifications.
- Support audit requests and provide documentation as needed.
- Review GL details and assist with financial reporting.
- Work collaboratively with the accounting team while independently managing priorities.
- Strong month-end close and general accounting experience.
- Experience with federal grants, nonprofit accounting, and grant compliance preferred.
- Familiarity with Uniform Guidance and SEFA reporting strongly preferred.
- Workday experience is a plus, but candidates with strong ERP/accounting systems experience will be considered.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to identify and resolve accounting issues.
- Hands-on grant accounting experience.
- Strong journal entry and GL analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
