AZ Therapy Services for Kids LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children by helping them reach their full physical potential in an educational setting. If you love working with kids and want a rewarding career that truly matters, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students' physical abilities, functional mobility, and gross motor skills
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals and educational outcomes
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success
- Provide direct and consultative PT services in school and classroom environments
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and complete required reports in a timely manner
- Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and assistive technology as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and school-based planning sessions
- Valid Arizona Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain)
- Graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with IEP processes, IDEA regulations, and special education environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children of all abilities
Job Types : Part-time or Full-time License/Certification:
- Arizona Physical Therapy License (Required)
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
