Manager of Data Governance

A highly respected, rapidly growing organization is seeking a strategic and hands‑on Data Governance leader to help build and elevate data practices across the organization. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence how data is structured, trusted, and leveraged to support both operational and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Develop and formalize enterprise data governance frameworks, including policies, standards, and operating procedures Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption of governance practices such as data cataloging, metadata management, data quality, and data privacy Collaborate with technology teams to implement and enhance data governance tools and platforms Analyze datasets to identify inconsistencies, gaps, and quality issues, and implement solutions to improve accuracy and completeness Establish governance structures, including committees and working groups, to drive alignment, ownership, and issue resolution Lead governance forums and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring transparency and progress against key priorities Translate complex data risks into clear business implications for leadership and stakeholders Define and execute both short‑ and long‑term strategies to strengthen data integrity, consistency, and usability Monitor compliance with governance policies and ensure ongoing adherence across the organization Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or related field 10+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related discipline Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks in large, complex environments Strong ability to influence stakeholders and build relationships across business and technical teams Ability to translate complex data challenges into actionable business insights Preferred Experience Advanced degree in data science, analytics, or a related quantitative field Experience with modern data platforms and cloud‑based ecosystems (e.g., data warehousing, data cataloging, or governance tools) #J-18808-Ljbffr Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.
