This role is uniquely positioned within an educational context, where you will interact with students, teachers, and families primarily through virtual platforms, allowing for a flexible work environment. While working remotely, you will utilize telehealth tools to connect with clients, assess their needs, and deliver therapies effectively from the safety of your home office or other preferred locations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide comprehensive mental health counseling to adolescents and young adults, identifying their individual needs through the development of treatment plans.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish appropriate interventions, using evidence-based techniques to address behavioral and emotional challenges.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, to effectively address mental health issues.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in medical documentation, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and school staff to develop integrated support strategies that promote the academic and emotional success of students.

• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in mental health to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve youth and young adults who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. By engaging with this demographic, you will help them navigate personal challenges, manage crises, and develop coping strategies that foster long-term success and emotional stability.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active LICSW licensure in the state of Washington is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health counseling principles, particularly as they pertain to youth and families.

• Proficiency in crisis intervention, enabling you to provide immediate support when needed.

Compensation and Benefits\n
