Boutique law firm seeking a Washington-licensed Associate Attorney with 1+ year of litigation experience. Responsibilities include legal research, drafting pleadings, handling discovery, depositions, and trial preparation. Opportunity to work on both litigation and transactional matters with a clear path to partnership.
A well-established boutique law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its Washington office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least one year of litigation experience who is looking to grow within a collaborative firm offering a clear path to partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Manage written discovery, take and defend depositions, and assist with trial preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.
- Opportunity to work on transactional matters for candidates interested in a hybrid practice.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington State Bar license (required).
- Minimum 1 year of litigation experience.
- Experience with legal research, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a desire for long-term career growth.
