Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for advocating for clients’ rights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from initial consultation through resolution, including litigation and settlement negotiations.
- Client Consultation: Meet with clients to gather facts, assess their cases, and provide legal advice and support.
- Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Drafting Documents: Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
- Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Court Representation: Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediation as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys and support staff to develop case strategies and share insights.
- Continuing Education: Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice law in Washington.
- 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
