Job Overview

MUSC Health – Orangeburg Regional Medical Center is seeking a full‑time board certified or board eligible Anesthesiologist to join our team‑based practice and care for the rapidly growing local population of Orangeburg, SC. This position will have the support of excellent local hospital staff, hospitalists, intensivists, and general surgeons, and will collaborate with our academic medical center to access advanced technologies and clinical centers of excellence.

Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care for major vascular, minimal obstetric, minimal pediatric, neuro, transplant, ambulatory, regional, orthopedic, and ENT procedures, as well as ultrasound‑guided nerve blocks. Serve as a leader within the Division and the institution.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology (BC/BE)
• Eligible for South Carolina licensure
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Experience with major vascular, minimal obstetric, minimal pediatric, neuro, transplant, ambulatory, regional, orthopedic, and ENT anesthesia, and ultrasound‑guided nerve blocks
