Job Summary As a HVAC Technician , you will: Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour, based on experience | Shift: 10:30 pm - 6:30 am. Responsibilities The Engineer IV performs a variety of advanced journey level, lead and/or specialized trade tasks which could include upholstery, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry kitchen equipment and general maintenance; may act as a lead worker for assigned shift and ensure assignments are distributed and completed; performs duties with minimum or no supervision; provides advanced support duties to higher level management staff; and performs related tasks within area of assignment. Maintains buildings by performing major routine plumbing, electrical, carpentry, kitchen equipment and HVAC maintenance. Receives work assignments via HotSOS, executes assignments and completes work orders as directed. Notifies Maintenance Supervisor or Manager concerning needs of major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing and equipment. Contacts and coordinates work with outside vendors as directed. Requirements Applicant must be at least 21 years of age. High School diploma or GED equivalent plus five (4) years’ experience in one of the required related maintenance fields (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry or Kitchen Equipment). Advanced plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC and general building repair. Knowledge of Building management systems. Knowledge of operations of Central Plant and emergency power distribution systems. Interpret electrical wiring diagrams/drawings. Read blueprints.
