Title: Physiatrist

Location: Williamsport, PA

Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiatrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible physiatrist with experience managing patients with a wide range of physical disabilities and chronic conditions. The physiatrist will provide rehab and pain consults in SNFs, including trigger points and joint injections.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat patients with physical disabilities and chronic conditions
\n
• Develop and implement treatment plans
\n
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care
\n
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
\n
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Physiatry
\n
• Valid medical license in Williamsport, PA
\n
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
\n
• Ability to work well in a team environment
\n
• Commitment to patient-centered care
\n
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload
\n

Physical Requirements: 

\n

\n
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer. 
\n
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 
\n
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards. 
\n
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement. 
\n
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.
\n
