Now Hiring: Bartenders & Servers

The Copper Lounge | Albuquerque, New Mexico

The Copper Lounge is looking for experienced, polished, hospitality-driven Bartenders and Servers to join our team.

The Copper Lounge is an upscale cocktail bar and restaurant focused on exceptional cocktails, quality food, elevated service, and a sophisticated but welcoming atmosphere . We’re looking for professionals who understand that great hospitality is about more than taking orders—it’s about creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.

BARTENDER

We are seeking bartenders who are confident behind the bar, knowledgeable about spirits and cocktails, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classic and signature cocktails accurately and consistently
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and food
• Deliver attentive, engaging, professional guest service
• Maintain proper recipes, presentation, portioning, and quality standards
• Set up, stock, clean, and maintain an organized bar
• Handle high-volume periods efficiently without sacrificing quality
• Accurately process guest checks and payments
• Monitor responsible alcohol service and follow all New Mexico alcohol regulations
• Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to provide a seamless guest experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a cocktail bar, upscale restaurant, hotel, or high-volume establishment
• Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
• Craft cocktail experience strongly preferred
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed during busy service
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Current New Mexico alcohol server certification as required

SERVER

We are seeking experienced servers who are personable, polished, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoy taking care of guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, professional, attentive table service
• Develop a strong knowledge of our food and beverage menus
• Guide guests through cocktail, wine, and food selections
• Make thoughtful recommendations and appropriately upsell
• Accurately take and enter orders
• Coordinate with bartenders and the kitchen to ensure timely service
• Monitor tables throughout the dining experience
• Maintain clean and properly set tables and service areas
• Process guest payments accurately
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve minor service issues professionally
• Help create the elevated hospitality experience expected at The Copper Lounge

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous serving experience, preferably in an upscale restaurant, cocktail bar, or hospitality environment
• Strong food and beverage knowledge
• Cocktail, wine, and spirits knowledge is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tables while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional, positive, dependable, and team-oriented
• Current New Mexico alcohol server certification as required
