Medical Assistant 2Join our dedicated outpatient team at the Indy West clinic, where patient-centered care is our top priority. In this role you will directly report to the Center Administrator and play an important part in delivering high-quality clinical support to our Patients. Indy West clinic address: 5115 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 4624.Main ResponsibilitiesAs a Medical Assistant, you will perform a variety of clinical responsibilities, including:Obtain patient histories, discuss symptoms, and record vital signsAdminister medications and vaccines following protocolsPerform phlebotomy and collect laboratory specimensPrepare and maintain clean, sterile examination and equipmentDocument patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemRequired• Successful completion of MA school/training program and a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or Certified/Registered Medical Assistant with 3+ years of experience and approval from Provider• High school diploma or equivalent• Current CPR Certified• Meet patient-facing role requirements, including participation in our Tuberculosis (TB) screening programPreferred• Phlebotomy experience• Medication/vaccine administration experience• At least 1 year of MA experience• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish - must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communicationSchedule• Onsite, Full-time, 40 hours per weekScheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
