Temporary Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established organization in the Lake Forest area to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk for a temporary assignment. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with strong invoice processing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and timely
  
• Perform 2-way and 3-way invoice matching
  
• Verify invoice approvals, coding, and supporting documentation
  
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
  
• Assist with weekly check runs and ACH payments
  
• Maintain accurate AP records and filing systems
  
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status
  
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable
  
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice and purchase order issues
  

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices
  
• Knowledge of invoice matching and account coding
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas
  
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP or accounting software
  
• Previous experience with vendor reconciliations and check runs
  
• Accounting coursework or degree preferred
  

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
  
• Location: Lake Forest, CA
  
• Position Type: Temporary
  
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours
