A global specialty chemicals manufacturer focused on additives that improve surface properties such as wetting, dispersing, defoaming, and lubrication across coatings, inks, adhesives, and industrial applications. It supports customers with customized formulations, technical expertise, and production capabilities across multiple international markets.
POSITION SUMMARY:

Human Resources Generalist at our Manufacturing site in Clover, SC. The HR Generalist will report to the Director of Human Resources and will play an active role in recruiting & onboarding new hires, support HRIS implementation efforts and be the primary contact person for any HR-related inquiries. The Human Resources Generalist is dedicated to maintaining general HR and office responsibilities. This role provides support to the HR team with the highest degree of professionalism, confidentiality, organization and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
*Serves as the point of contact for HR related queries, providing an employee experience that reflects our values
*Responds to employee inquiries and work with HR team and vendor partners
*Manages the full-cycle recruitment process and facilitates smooth onboarding for new hires by preparing new hire paperwork, coordinates pre-employment screenings and new hire orientation
*Records and maintains employee information to ensure all HR records are properly updated
*Serves as backup for Payroll and Benefits Specialist
*Manages leave of absences, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
*Supports the implementation of new HRIS system modules and an active participant in testing
*Generates and submits all reporting requirements to ensure compliance (EEO, ACA, etc.)
*Oversees the Workers" Comp claim process
*Manages the tracking system for performance reviews and ensures timely emails of annual communications
*Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
*Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
*Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
*Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
*College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
*5+ years HR experience; payroll processing exposure preferred
*Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
*Ability to quickly learn the HRIS and benefit management systems, SAP SuccessFactors experience required
*Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
*Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
*Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
*A desire to learn and grow in the HR field, with a willingness to take on new challenges

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to work an eight (8) hour shift in an office environment. Must have the ability to sit for long periods of time. Will be required to use phone daily to answer employee needs. Will be required to use computer daily to effectively complete job functions for entire shift.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Office environment.

Job Classification: Salary/ExemptSchedule: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm)
Hours: 40 Hours, Full-time Salary Range: $70 - 85k, plus 10% Target Bonus
