Staffing Manager PositionPeak Workforce Solutions (Newbold Services) is seeking an independent, and highly motivated individual for our Staffing Manager position in YORK, SC.A Staffing Manager acts as an onsite extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include employees relationship development and management of the contingent employees. Having prior experience in staffing, manufacturing, light industrial skill sets is a STRONG PLUS!Compensation: $22.00-$24.00 /hour.Benefits:Paid vacation after 3 months of employmentPaid holidaysRaises based on performanceMedical, vision, dental, life insurance, and short-term disabilityResponsibilities:Build and maintain strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies.Easily problem solve issues that may arise.Communicate and follow up with production supervisors and managers on company related mattersUpdate live spreadsheets and forms.Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the client's needs and output requirement.Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulationsMaintain all business documentation in a professional mannerEnsures timely and precise updates in data systems and trackersRecruiting, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection for accountProcessing applicants through hiring procedures which include pre-employment testing, on-boarding, orientations, and safety orientationsManagement of employee HR issues to include coaching, counseling, disciplining, safety awareness and/or terminationEngage with employees daily to improve relations and retentionDocumentation and administration of employee performance reviews and management of employee appreciation programProcess weekly payrollDaily contact and weekly meetings with client representative for continued communication of service and issuesTracking and reporting of all service metrics/KPIsQualifications:Previous experience in a supervisor role is preferred.Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workloadUnsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organizationStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlinesMust be self-motivatedPeople orientedKnowledge of MS Office
