About the role Job Title: MS Project to MS Planner Migration Engineer Location: Remote Role type: Customer‑Facing M365 Enterprise Applications Customer Engineer. This technical expert specializes in MS 365 Apps for Enterprise, enabling organizations to maximize productivity, drive adoption, and ensure seamless operation of MS Office Apps—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook—across enterprise environments. Skills Required 5+ years experience with customer‑facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, and IT consulting, with a focus on MS Teams or similar collaboration platforms. Expertise in MS Planner (including Planner Premium with Accelerator) and the ability to position it as a viable alternative to Project for the Web, Project Online/Professional, and Project Server Subscription. Customer‑focused with a commitment to providing high‑quality support. Experience conducting technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars to educate customers on the best practices and new features of MS 365 Apps for Enterprise. Provide technical support for Office Apps, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (Classic and New). Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Office Apps, both remotely and on‑site. Deep technical knowledge of MS 365 Apps features and functionalities. Assist users with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Office Apps. Experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Office Suites and/or MS 365 Apps for Enterprise. Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Office Apps within the organization’s IT infrastructure. Knowledge of Integrating MS 365 Apps with Office Online Server. Strong understanding of Office 365 administration. Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive. Stay up to date with the latest updates and features of Office Apps and guide customers with recommendations for implementation. Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell. Knowledge of Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts. Experience with VBA to guide customers in using macros and VBA programming to automate tasks. Knowledge of Office Scripts and ability to guide customers on best practices. BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. MS Office Specialist: Associate MS Word (MS 365 Apps) MS Office Specialist: Associate MS Excel (MS 365 Apps) MS Office Specialist: Associate MS PowerPoint (MS 365 Apps) Salary Range The salary for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 USD annually. Pay may vary based on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
