Typical Responsibilities Provide evaluations and interventions within your scope of practice. Deliver rehab services efficiently and document them in a timely manner. Assess therapeutic status and participate in care plan development. Use techniques to achieve changes consistent with the physician’s plan. Observe and report patient reactions and status changes. Maintain and report equipment needs. Prioritize patient service and ensure quality, compassionate care. Teach patients skills for functional activities and evaluate progress. Perform routine reexaminations as required to modify treatment plans. Report any changes in physical condition or behavior. May work with memory‑impairment patients in memory‑care areas. Qualifications & Requirements Graduate from an APTA‑accredited PT school (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral). Active registration with the National Board for Certification in Physical Therapy.
