Package Assembler I
Location: San Diego, CA 92121 Pay Rate: $19.19 - $20.19/hr Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Overview The Package Assembler I assists with packaging operations in a warehouse and production environment. This role supports the preparation, packaging, labeling, and quality verification of materials while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
Job Specifications
- Assist with packaging operations and preparation of materials
- Operate packaging machines according to established procedures
- Load items into containers for packaging and shipment
- Weigh and label containers accurately
- Perform quality checks to identify defective or nonconforming items
- Maintain accurate records of materials, packaging, and shipments
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support general warehouse and packaging operations as assigned
Skills and Experience
- General warehouse experience required
- Ability to operate packaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
