Highland Hospital is seeking a full time Patient Relations Representative for the Emergency Department. This position is Monday-Friday, primarily Day shift with Evenings hours as required. The Patient Relations Representative in the Emergency Department serves as a pivotal resource for patients and their families within the ED's dynamic and often unpredictable environment. This role demands immediate, proactive engagement to expertly address and resolve complex concerns, special needs, and intricate care issues. The Representative collaborates directly with ED and hospital staff, serving as a vital liaison to promptly solve problems, educate on ED throughput, and skillfully de-escalate difficult or volatile patient situations. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills, creativity, and independent judgment to thoroughly investigate inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution. SALARY RANGE:$55,000-81,727.11 The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity consideration
