Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Reedley, California, United States. This travel assignment starts on 09/14/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,288 to $2,402 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is night, consisting of 3x12-hour shifts. The assignment occurs in a critical access hospital setting within the ER department.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to ER patients using the nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate.
- Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; monitor vital signs and changes in condition; triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced environment.
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies; monitor for adverse reactions and provide prompt interventions as needed.
- Coordinate care with physicians, ancillary staff, case management, and social work to ensure timely and effective treatment and safe discharge planning.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff on the shift; delegate appropriately and maintain patient safety and quality standards.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (state of practice)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS and PALS certifications required (AHA-ACLS/ARC-ALS and AHA-PALS/ARC-PALS)
- Must have EPIC electronic medical record experience
- Minimum two years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced ER; ability to collaborate across disciplines and support safe patient care
