Job Details Job Location: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Certification Job Category: Health Care Sign-On Bonus Eligible! Only candidates who meet the minimum qualifications will be considered. Interviews will be conducted by a WMCHC representative. Responsibilities Answer phones in a timely, professional manner; forward calls or take detailed messages as appropriate. Demonstrate proper and accurate charting of patients and procedures. Demonstrate effective knowledge of medical terminology and medical abbreviations. Cooperatively assist doctor with office exams and procedures. Demonstrate bandaging skills. Demonstrate knowledge of basic first aid. Appropriately perform or demonstrate knowledge of vitals, exam room preparation, medical/surgical aseptic techniques, patients’ rights and ethics, venipuncture, collecting specimens, etc. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an approved Medical Assistant Education program. Certified or Registered MA or equivalent credential. Prior Medical Assistant experience highly preferred.
