Job Duties

• Create Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and design tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve personal goals
• Implement Therapeutic Approaches: Apply evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to care
• Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their caregivers about therapeutic practices that promote continued progress beyond the clinic
• Track and Adapt Treatment: Monitor patient development and modify plans as required, ensuring optimal progress along their recovery journey

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Encouragement for continuing education and post-graduate certifications

Licenses

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
