HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Type of equipment – Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring. · EMR – Meditech Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · PCU experience · Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients · Chest tube management, epidurals Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Teamwork ability · Time management with high turnover of patients List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients · Critical drips, epidurals, PCA REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · BLS & ACLS Floating Area(s): · ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg Elevated rate About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
