HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL - RN PCU 3E (631) 7:00AM-7:00PM · Number of Beds – 15 beds · Number of Staff – 22 (RN/PCT) · Type of staff: o Day Shift – 3-4RN, 2 PCT, 1 Clinical Coordinator o Night Shift – 3-4 RN 1 PCT · Patient Ratios – 4-5/1 · EMR – Meditech Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · PCU experience · Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients · Chest tube management, epidurals Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Teamwork ability · Time management with high turnover of patients List typical procedures performed on unit(s): · Post cardiac cath, EP studies, device placements, groin management, chest tubes , post op surgical patients · Critical drips, epidurals, PCA REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · BLS & ACLS Floating Area(s): · ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients) Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
