Position Overview

UNLMTD Partners is looking for a Senior Associate to join our team full time. This person will play an active role in supporting multiple clients with a focus on writing, execution, and organization.

The Senior Associate is a highly collaborative, creative, organized and deadline oriented individual who can juggle multiple tasks at once and thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere.

This role will be based in either our New York or Los Angeles office, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.

Qualifications and Qualities

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• 5-8+ years of experience working in communications, marketing, or social media serving corporate, technology-driven clients
• Agency and specific investor relations experience required
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with attention to tone, structure, and accuracy - no jargon
• Demonstrated experience managing and executing campaign-driven communications across many channels, including earned media, new media/podcasts, events and social amplification
• Confidence interfacing directly with senior-level executives and clients
• Strong editorial judgment and ability to distinguish signal from noise
• Knowledge of and relationships with key media – across traditional press and independent media
• Intellectual curiosity about different industries, business models, and societal trends
• Experience working across cross-functional client support teams alongside legal, financial, marketing, and other partners
• Comfort working on fast-moving client needs and in crisis situations
• Experience or interest in working on financial communications matters
• A high degree of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
• A high degree of responsiveness and availability, including the ability to travel for client engagements and team offsites

Key Responsibilities

Client and New Business Support

• Draft and manage core materials, including communications plans, press releases, blog posts, social media content, and new business proposals
• Manage social media profiles and content for both individuals and companies
• Monitor news and flag relevant stories for clients in real time - note that this is a shared responsibility across our team
• Work with an Associate to develop media backgrounders and prep documents
• Work with an Associate to manage and maintain media lists, event lists, and awards trackers
• Work with an Associate to track industry news and journalist moves to keep client-facing intelligence current
• Work with an Associate to maintain running lists of relevant events and speaking/engagement opportunities
• Generate creative ideas for where clients should engage and appear publicly - note that this is a shared responsibility across our team

Research + Briefing Support

• Support client teams with background research, media analysis, media monitoring, and narrative development, including organizing and drafting prep materials ahead of key new business or client meetings
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and strategic planning, including potential media engagement opportunities (podcasts, social media shows, independent and traditional media outlets) and research/relationship mining for new business opportunities
• Serve as an internal resource for AI tools and emerging technology — actively testing new platforms, staying current on the landscape, and bringing forward recommendations for how UNLMTD can integrate AI to sharpen research, content, operations, and client work
