Project Controller

As a Project Controller in Engineering Services, you’ll provide solutions and services that help our customers protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems worldwide. The Project Controller is a key member of the Project Management team and requires a variety of skills. Our typical projects can range from small, single deliverable projects to larger, multi‑month or even multi‑year projects. You will be involved from quoting to project close‑out. You will coordinate and track project activities between the Project Manager and the Engineering teams. Key duties include supporting quote preparation, schedule tracking, resource tracking, project finance, and technical deliverables. You will also engage with customer project managers, procurement, legal, and engineering team members. Typical day Forecasting project resource workload and tracking deliverables Support development and negotiation of proposals and project cost estimates Order entry on new projects including entering schedules and resources Issue Purchase Orders and track deliveries of equipment Ensure invoices are issued per project billing schedules Review project deadlines and finances Data analysis and metrics tracking This job might be for you if you: Have 5+ years of experience as a project controller or similar role. Are process driven. Have the ability to understand technical deliverables in an engineering services organization. Have high attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Insist on quality work and on time deliverables. Possess strong written & verbal communication including on technical subjects. Enjoy problem solving and driving improvements. Are open minded with a desire to learn and grow. Having experience with Deltek Vision software is a plus. We base our starting pay offer on location and job‑related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
