Make a significant impact supporting young learners by providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a welcoming elementary school environment. Full-time contract opportunities are open for experienced SLPs who thrive in dynamic and collaborative settings. Positioned onsite and working closely with preschool and Child Find programs, you will play an important role in evaluating and supporting students’ communication needs.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in school-based speech-language therapy, hold an active state SLP license and educator certificate, and are energized by diverse caseloads. Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card is required. With varying caseload sizes influenced by evaluation and therapy responsibilities, adaptability and strong organizational skills are key.
Qualifications:
- Current state SLP license
- Valid SLP educator certificate
- Up-to-date IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Deliver individualized and group therapy focused on student growth
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and other specialists
- Complete required documentation and progress reports within timelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide actionable input on student needs
- Travel between assigned sites as needed for caseload support
