Shipping Receiving/Parts Driver

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to verify accuracy and quality.
• Preparing and processing outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation.
• Operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintaining organized and clean shipping and receiving areas.
• Collaborating with the warehouse team to manage inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
• Communicating with carriers and suppliers to coordinate pickups and deliveries.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any shipping or receiving issues in a timely manner.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Pulling parts return and restocking of shelves.
• Placing warranty parts in the storage area daily. Weekly cleaning of warranty scrap.
• Driving: picking up parts from local vendors

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in logistics or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• MUST HAVE A CA DL, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
