Work Environment

This physical therapist position is full-time and onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation facility in Herndon. Our facility is designed to offer a welcoming atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery. Team members enjoy regular interactions with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing a holistic approach to patient care. Your regular working hours will typically fall within the schedule of Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, ensuring work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist at Carilion Physical Therapy, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations assessing patients' needs and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a combination of therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding exercises, pain management strategies, and recovery processes.
• Document patient care in compliance with facility policy and regulatory standards, using electronic health record systems.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
