Workers' Compensation Attorney

We're partnering with established an growing law firm seeking an experienced Applicant-Side Workers' Compensation Attorney to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated attorney with strong workers' compensation experience who is passionate about advocating for injured workers and achieving the best possible outcomes for clients. Position Overview The Workers' Compensation Attorney will manage a caseload of applicant-side workers' compensation matters from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation and negotiation skills, excellent client communication abilities, and a proven track record handling workers' compensation case. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of applicant-side workers' compensation claims. Represent injured workers throughout the workers' compensation process. Conduct client consultations and provide ongoing legal guidance. Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents. Handle depositions, hearings, settlement negotiations, and trials as needed. Develop and execute effective case strategies. Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, and other parties. Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient case management. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active license to practice law in California 3-5+ years of experience handling applicant-side workers' compensation matters. Strong knowledge of workers' compensation laws and procedures. Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and litigation skills. Strong organizational and case management abilities. Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines. Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
