Engaging with customers to negotiate repayment plans, the full-time remote Account Specialist will work to prevent delinquent accounts from escalating while maintaining accurate records and assessing customer circumstances in Canada. Key responsibilities Contact customers to negotiate repayment plans and prevent progression to late-stage delinquency Assess customer circumstances and recommend appropriate solutions Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in compliance with regulatory and company requirements Required qualifications 1-2 years of collections, customer service, or financial services experience Understanding of lines of credit and billing cycles Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining professionalism Strong knowledge of PCs and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Willingness to work in a quiet environment with high-speed internet connectivity
