Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students for the 2026-2027 school year as a full-time Occupational Therapist in an engaging educational environment near Wilmington, DE. This contract position allows you to support student success, promote independence, and empower children to achieve their fullest potential.

Bring your expertise to a dynamic team and collaborate with educators and families to deliver personalized interventions. If you have experience with OT in schools, home health, or broader healthcare settings, your skill set will help students overcome challenges and thrive both in and outside the classroom.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
  • Active OT licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Prior experience in a school-based, home health, or healthcare OT role
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to providing inclusive and equitable services
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in compliance with educational goals
  • Engage with teachers and families to support students’ functional performance in school and at home
  • Document progress, update goals, and report on outcomes
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster student achievement
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to service planning
