Senior Real Estate Accountant, (95K-100K+Bonus)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing real estate investment and property management organization to recruit a Senior Real Estate Accountant for its Dallas office. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a competitive salary of 90K-100K, bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and the ability to work remotely one day each week. In this role, you will support a portfolio of properties while collaborating with multiple departments to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting, compliance, and month-end close activities. Responsibilities: Complete and review month-end close activities, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring all reporting deadlines are achieved. Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to verify accuracy and identify unusual trends or variances. Review the work prepared by Property Accountants, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with established accounting policies and procedures. Perform financial analyses, recurring reporting, and ad hoc requests to support operational decision-making and business initiatives. Collaborate with Accounting Managers to balance workloads, improve efficiencies, and support cross-training within the accounting team. Partner with departments including Operations, Leasing, HOA, and other internal stakeholders to understand business activity and its impact on financial results. Communicate with field personnel and external partners to explain financial results, answer questions, and provide accounting support. Assist with internal and external audit requests, including SOX compliance, internal controls, and other regulatory requirements. Coach and mentor junior accounting staff while encouraging continued professional development and knowledge sharing. Manage and review high-volume accounting transactions while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of three years of accounting experience, including financial statement preparation and property accounting. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with Yardi is preferred but not required. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
