Senior Accountant, Aviation (100K-110K), ONLY 2 days in office

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established aviation company in Dallas to identify a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, complex environment supporting multiple legal entities and high-volume intercompany transactions. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll-related accounting. Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis and management reporting. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support both internal and external audit engagements by preparing schedules and responding to audit requests. Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions. Help improve accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and document procedures. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications CPA designation or active progress toward CPA certification is preferred. Experience working within private equity-backed organizations, investment banking, or multinational/global operations is highly desirable.
