NOW HIRING: ORTHOPEDICS PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT (PA-C) Mammoth Lakes, California $135–$148/hour — Negotiable Full-Time | Long-Term Contract On-Call Coverage: Nights & Weekends Orthopedic Inpatient + Outpatient + Surgical Care Are you an experienced Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA-C) looking for a long-term opportunity in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, CA ? We are seeking a skilled Orthopedics Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and operating room settings , working directly with orthopedic attending physicians and multidisciplinary care teams. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Provide medical management of orthopedic inpatients Evaluate patients and order appropriate labs, imaging, X-rays, diagnostic studies and medications within PA scope of practice Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinate treatment plans Communicate effectively with orthopedic physicians, nurses, patients and families Manage patient discharge planning, follow-up care and education Perform History & Physicals when needed Assess emergency conditions and implement appropriate management in collaboration with the attending physician Initiate appropriate emergency care in inpatient and outpatient settings Function as First or Second Surgical Assistant in the Operating Room Assist with surgical exposure, dissection, wound closure, dressings and immobilization devices Participate in OR first-assist on-call coverage Provide rotating coverage for nights, weekends, holidays and high-volume event dates Provide coverage at the Bishop clinic as needed REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years of experience in inpatient, outpatient and surgical care BLS certification — AHA or American Red Cross DEA License Strong orthopedic and surgical experience Ability to participate in night/weekend on-call coverage Comfortable working collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams COMPENSATION: $135–$148/hour — Negotiable Full-Time Long-Term Contract Nights & Weekend On-Call Coverage Potential Bishop Clinic Coverage Why Mammoth Lakes?
