Grow your career with us and be on the cutting edge of the rapidly expanding FinTech payments space.Essential DutiesCash Management Record general ledger entries for all bank activity and prepare daily and monthly bank account reconciliationsAccounts Receivable Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate mannerApply customer payments and monitor Accounts Receivable aging and follow up on past-due balancesReconcile the Accounts Receivable subledger to the general ledger monthlyAccounts Payable Process vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding, approval, and supportManage payment runs (checks, ACH, wire) and vendor inquiriesReconcile AP subledger to the general ledger monthlyMaintain W-9s and assist with 1099 preparationFixed Assets Maintain the fixed asset ledger, including additions, disposals, and transfersCalculate and record monthly depreciationReconcile fixed asset subledger to the general ledger monthlyEnsure proper capitalization policy compliancePrepaid Expenses Maintain prepaid expense schedules and amortization calculationsPrepare monthly journal entries to recognize expense over the appropriate periodReconcile prepaid asset subledger to general ledger monthlyGeneral Accounting Support Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport external audit requests with documentation and analysisIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controlsPerform other duties and ad hoc projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Working knowledge of GAAPProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) and WordStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPreferred, But Not RequiredExperience in the payments industry 1-2 years of accounting related experienceExperience with Netsuite ERPExperience with Ramp Expense Management and Bill Pay
